The driver is the most expensive club in your bag and the one that decides the shape of the hole before you've played a shot. Get it right and you've made the round easier. Get it wrong and you'll be hunting for distance and accuracy that aren't really there.
Most golfers we fit walk out of the bay with 10-20 yards tighter dispersion. That's not a marketing line, it's what the launch monitor data shows session after session. Where the extra yardage comes from is almost always a shaft change rather than a head change, which is the bit most fitting elsewhere misses.
What happens in the session
90 minutes. We start by capturing a baseline on your current driver so we have something to measure against. From there we work through head options from the major brands, narrow down to one or two heads that suit your delivery, and then test shafts in those heads. By the end the numbers usually point to a clear winner, often by a wide enough margin that there's no real debate.
What we look at
Ball speed, club head speed, launch angle and spin rate. Launch and spin together determine how far the ball actually carries. Smash factor tells us how efficiently you're transferring speed to the ball. Strike pattern shows us where on the face you're hitting it. Dispersion across a series of shots shows us how forgiving the combination is when you don't catch it perfectly.
What you leave with
A clear written recommendation on head, shaft, loft and weighting. The full data set from the session. And an honest answer on whether you actually need a new driver or whether a shaft change in your current one would do most of the same job for a fraction of the cost.
